LEGAZPI FOCUSES ON GREEN TOURISM IN LOCAL INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT
LEGAZPI CITY, July 21 (PNA) — This key Bicol metropolis is firming up its hold on green tourism in reasserting its “City of Fun and Adventure” travel industry promotion caption and its “Most Livable City” title. City Mayor Noel Rosal resolved on this after looking at the growing number of arrivals that the city has been receiving not only as tourists but also attendees to dozens of grand occasions it has been hosting every year over the past few years.

WHY ARE TREES BEING CUT? WHY CLEAR UP SPECIFIC ECOSYSTEMS FOR ROAD OPENINGS?
When trees are cut, when specific ecosystems are cleared up and destroyed, biodiversity of the area is at stake. How many animal species will lose their homes, food source and breeding place? How many plant species will vanish in the area? How many fungal species will get disturbed? Biodiversity destroyed - balance of nature gets destroyed too
