Thousands of devotees and visitors gather and participate in the nine-day celebration of the Nito and Talahib Festival, one of the festivals in the Philippines in honor of St. Raphael Archangel, the town's patron, on October 15-24 in Manito, Albay. The aim was to revive interest in nito which used to grow widely and abundantly in Manito. In fact, the town’s name was derived from this local crop. Talahib, known internationally as tiger grass, have provided livelihood for many. Quality soft brooms are produced out of this material and marketed in neighboring as well as distant towns and cities making Manito one of the best producers of soft brooms in the country.

A weeklong festivity coinciding with the feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia.  The festival name was taken from a local word “layag” or sail boat which is a primitive means of transportation of the early people of Rapu-Rapu.  It depicts the people’s journey of faith. It is called Layag Festival.

Sumlang Lake is a new addition to the list of tourist destinations surrounding the majestic Mayon Volcano. The place is famous for it's 'twin' view of Majestic Mayon because of the reflection of Mt. Mayon being reflected in the lake. The place provides a lot of amenities to improve your pictures of the volcano. You can also ride the bamboo raft and other floating boats, stay under the coconut trees, and just enjoy the majestic view of Mt. Mayon.

The Cagsawa Ruins is a memorial to the townspeople of Cagsawa who perished during the eruption of February 1, 1814. It is one place where Mayon Volcano appears to be a perfect cone. The bell tower of the destroyed Church of Cagsawa, with Mayon in the background, is probably one of the most photographed man-made structure in the country.

Daragang Magayon Festival is an annual celebration derived from the legend of the Mayon Volcano in honor of the province’s bounty and beauty. The most spectacular thing about this festival is that it blends the culture, religion as well as the rich heritage of the locals in Albay, Philippines. The name of the festival is actually derived from a local word, "Magayon" which means ‘beautiful’.
